Block Therapy For Nasal Breathing
Formerly “Fluid Isometrics and Block Therapy For Nose Breathing”
In Block Therapy, we always encourage people to breathe through their nose. There are 2 main reasons for this. Firstly, the life force receptors reside at the base of the nostrils. It is important to pass the air through these receptors with the in and out breath. Secondly, when aligning the tongue properly, you can’t breathe through the mouth. This may present a challenge for those who have issues breathing through the nose. Scar tissue from injury or surgery can get in the way of this, so this class will focus on opening the space in both nostrils for optimal nose breathing. If you look at your nostrils, you will likely notice they are a different size and shape. Air that passes through the right nostril feeds the left side of the body, air that passes through the left nostril feeds the right side of the body. The goal is that both nostrils are equal in their ability to direct oxygen to all the cells in the body. For more information on this, read Science of Breath, by Swami Rama, Rudolph Ballentine, M.D., Alan Hymes, M.D. This will be a 90 minute class working directly around and inside the nose. It is live but you will receive the recording about a week after to access for life.

What is Fascia Decompression?
Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps every muscle, organ, and cell in your body. Over time-from sitting, stress, injury, and gravity-it compresses and develops adhesions (areas where layers stick together).
These adhesions don’t just cause pain; they literally squeeze shut the pathways for blood, lymph, and nerve signals. Your cells can’t get what they need, and waste can’t get out.
Fascia decompression uses your body weight and a therapeutic tool to create sustained pressure that melts these adhesions. Combined with proper breathing, it restores space for everything to flow again.
